What do we charge?
So how much for a basic, simply designed, static 10 page website?
For a hand-coded site you would be looking at approximately $400 for the programming portion. A $400 site is formatted using one of the 4 layouts discussed in the initial consultation. This site includes:
- one cascading style sheet, a header, a side or top navigation bar, a footer, 10 content pages, two of which may include a simple form, and 2 small custom elements (like javascript features)
OR
A $200 site powered by a content management system. This site includes:
- set-up and installation of a website based within a content management system with a premium theme.
As well, for no additonal charge, you can contact us, by e-mail only, as many times as you like to make content changes for up to 2 weeks from the date of the initial payment.
Dynamic pages, additional pages or elements or further changes cost $30 per hour.
A Secure Online Merchant Account (e.g. Paypal) based shopping cart costs $500 to add-on to your site, as is. Custom changes to the shopping cart cost an additional $30 per hour. The $500 shopping cart does not include setting up a secure server on your site directly. It allows customers to add items to a shopping cart and then transfers their shopping cart information over to your Secure Online Merchant Account (e.g. Paypal) to process the payment.*

Still unsure?
To be sure you are satisfied with the result of your website programming, we only require a partial payment upfront. Upfront payments are non-refundable. The initial payment provides some compensation for the effort it takes to fulfill your contract. If you are not satisfied with the outcome of the programming, then the website is deleted and no further payment is required.
If you are satisfied, then you complete the payment in full and the website is uploaded to your hosting account and our contract is fulfilled.
*A true shopping cart which will process payments directly will cost $75 per hour and will have an additional charge of $200-$500 or more for purchasing a security certificate for your website as well as any incidental fees incurred for setting up the shopping cart accounts with the bank/credit card companies.
